Oral history. Anna was born in Denmark in 1900, and begins by describing her early life and experiences during the war years. In 1949 Anna emmigrated to New Zealand with her husband, Peder, initially settling in Stratford. Anna describes learning English and adjusting to life in New Zealand, joining YWCA and League of Mothers.
