Oral history. Nellie Wilson was born in Mangatainoka (near Woodville) in 1906. She talks of her early childhood at Makahu near Strathmore, domestic life, lighting and heating, socialising, schooling, etc. Wilson also discusses married life at Kohuatahi, teaching, raising a family and effects of the depression.
