Oral history. Vera Louise Anderson (nee Uncles) was born in Palmerston North in 1958. She spent her early years in Australia and returned to New Zealand with her husband, Daryl Anderson, in 1981. Trained as a nurse, Anderson discusses her experiences working in the Hawera hospital and some of the changes that have occurred in the profession over the years.
