Description
Oral history. Audrey Lily Eagle was born in Timaru in 1925. Her family returned to England in the 1930s. In this interview, she describes her early years and the beginning of her interest in botany. Eagle was trained as a draughtwoman but is best known for her work as a botanical illustrator. She has published award winning books on the subject and has been recognized for her conservation efforts.
