 Description
Oral history recording. Mary Ella Whiting (nee Wicksteed) (1928-2012) was born in Stratford and went to school in Cardiff. She began training as a nurse and worked at the Noradene private hospital in New Plymouth before marrying her husband Colin Roy Whiting on 26 June 1948. The interview takes place on the 46th anniversary of Mary's wedding and describes their courtship, engagement, wedding and honeymoon. Colin's work as a baker is also discussed.
