Oral history recording. Slavko (Steve) Petkovski describes his early life in Macedonia in the former Yugoslavia. After studying to be an engineer he came to New Zealand in 1967 with the engineering company Fletchers. He describes his family life with wife Joy and their two children, his interests, work and compares life in New Zealand with Yugoslavia. Recorded as part of the Taranaki Museum's immigration project.
