Description
A collection of notes and references collected for an unknown purpose, possibly writing a family history. The writer has accessed military collections, diaries and New Zealand Company records. For example it starts with a list of the 57th Regiment who lost their lives in New Zealand, with ticks beside various names. This is followed by a quote from Benjamin Wells. Followed by notes on Hadfield from Colonial Church Histories... No one surname is predominant.
