Description
The New Testament. Wright & W Gill 1768. Brown slightly embossed leather. Philip Antrobus inscribed inside front cover. Given to the Putt family (who arrived in New Plymouth aboard the Timandra) in England. The bible does not include a family tree as was often common. May have originally belonged to Sir Philip Antrobus or Rev Philip Antrobus. Later given by Putt family to Ida Antrobus.
