Oral history. Corry was born in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in 1932. She describes her early life as a child during the Depression. Corry was eight years old when the Second World War began and describes life in Holland under German occupation. She travelled to New Zealand in 1954 on the ship Zyuderkruise to join her Dutch husband to be. Corry describes her arrival by bus in New Plymouth and her reunion with Fritz, and the family life that followed.
