Oral history recording. Presentation given by Albert Mervyn (Merv) Howard Chong (1904-1997) to the Eltham Historical Society recalling his grandfather Chew Chong (Chau Tseung), storekeeper and goldminer who came to New Zealand and established a number of diary factories in Taranaki. Also includes a later interview with Merv recorded in 1983.
