Description
Materials relating to the death sentence of Hori Teira (also known as George Taylor), who was found guilty of the New Zealand Wars 'murder' of Dr Hope at the ambush at Wairau near Tataraimaka. This sentence was latter commuted to life with hard labour and later still, Hori Teira was released.
