 Description
Sydney Evelyn Liardet Wright (1825-1897) was born in England and travelled to New Plymouth on the ship Blenheim in 1842. He lived in New Plymouth until returning to England in 1844. Having married Georgina Amelia Pickford in 1857, they returned to New Zealand in 1858. Typescript of Wright's journal giving an account of his first voyage to New Zealand on the Blenheim and also his life in New Plymouth up to 1844.
