i) Regulations relating to gaols, prisons and prisoners. Gives staffing requirements, punishment regulations conditions for various types of prisoners, diet allocations etc.
ii) A Report by Dr Hector on the petroleum recently found at Taranaki - dated June 18th 1866. It includes a letter written by W E Carter, May 30 1866
iii) Notices - those relating to Taranaki include: Military Commissions for Ensign Charles Messenger and Martin George Roddy.
2) A section of the New Zealand Gazette published Monday September 30 1867 i) Sale of land in the Township of Raleigh (Waitara) - gives block and lot numbers. No names mentioned.
