Description
The Public Schools Empire Tour Committee was established in Britain to organise groups of English public school schoolboys in their last year of school to tour British Empire countries. The committee sent at least ten tour groups to different parts of the British Empire. In 1929 the committee formed itself into organization called the Public Schools Empire Tour Society (New Zealand 1929). The main object of the tours were educational, providing the boys experience of life in different parts of the Empire.
