Description
Doris Swadling was born in Kaponga 1904. Both parents died while she was still young and she was raised by an aunt, Miss Elizabeth Swadling.
The collection includes eight volumes of music which Doris had bound by C. O. Ekdale, of Hawera and bears the title of 'Music. D Swadling'.
A biographical essay published in Women of South Taranaki - Their Stories is included in the collection along with a laser copy of two family photos, the original of which is still held by the donor.
