Description
A hand written prospectus for the Taranaki Flour Mill Company outlining plans to build the Union Flour Mill and detailing William Hulke's plans.
The prospectus begins:' It is proposed to form a Company to complete without delay the above mill originally called the 'New Plymouth Union Corn Mill' and currently purchased by W. Hulke for the sum of 250 pounds.'
Notes at the end read:'Early application to Mr Hulke is requested, as he will leave for Wanganui on Wednesday next. Taranaki 2nd August 1847. A prospectus of a proposed new flour mill company is lying at the Seven Stars Inn for inspection. W.H.'
