Born 1925, New Plymouth. Talks of family and schooling. Trained as a doctor including psychiatry. Worked in various hospitals before travelling to UK to study anaesthetics. Returned to New Zealand and took up general practice New Plymouth with Derek Livingston in 1964 and they were later joined by Dr Leon Roborgh and Dr David Lyall. He worked with the Flying Doctor Service from 1978 in Australia. Talks of outback life.
