Born 1936, Stratford. Talks of her childhood on a farm near Stratford. Talks of health problems - hip aged 4 years. Attended New Plymouth Girls High School. Her hip problem prevented her from completing nursing training. In 1972, became interested in Life Line. Joined the police force as a civilian 1988 and retired ten years later. Talks of policing during that period. Talks of her children and past times, husband's business etc.
