Description
Recording of the Sinfull Party, held at Motunui in February 1986.
Organised by a group of people against the development of the Synfuel plant at Motunui. The party, held at Motunui Hall, was the group's 'unopening' in response to the official opening that had been arranged for HRH Prince Phillip. It included 'Mobil Swan-Song Quest', the winner being Christine Quinn. The tribunal consisted of Cheryl Sotheran, Director Govett Brewster Art Gallery; Ron Lambert, Director, Taranaki Museum; and Ian Crysell. MC's for the evening were Marlene Benson and Ben Gray.
