 Description
Established in 1932 as the Taranaki Provincial Ski Committee, the object of forming the association was to have a provincial body to oversee matters of general interest to the participating Clubs. Provincial ski events and search and rescue operations were common concerns of the Association. The name was changed in 1957, the association was disbanded in 1992.
