Booklet. 'Victor Richard Pennington 1897 - 1980. A diary describing a 19-year-old Taranaki boy going to war. He writes of life in the trenches.
The diary was transferred from the original by his granddaughter, Laurel Aitken. She has added a postscript to the diary and briefly informs the reader of Victor's life after he returned from the war. This limited edition was distributed amongst family members as a Christmas present from Laurel 1996.
