Description
Founder of nine New Zealand newspapers including the Eltham Argus, James Claridge began his newspaper career on the Hawera Star. He wrote and published three books containing his reminiscences between 1926 and 1938.
Three publications: Odd notes [1928], Twenty-two brief New Zealand Tales [1926], 75 years in New Zealand [1938].
