Oral history. Extracts of recordings from the Sound Archives, presented to the Taranaki Museum by Dr Jeanine Graham.
1) Mrs Williams recalls a specific incident which occurred while burning off the bush.
2) Male voice describes re grassing, the building of a water wheel and reminiscences about E M Smith.
3) Mrs Peters, Opunake, describes process of bush felling and fencing.
