Description
Oral history. Born in New Plymouth 17 March 1909, educated at New Plymouth Girls High School, studied law at Canterbury University, married aged 27. She raised her family and practised law in Canterbury, moving back to New Plymouth after the death of her father. She became active in Frankley Park Kindergarten, National Party, New Plymouth City Council, Victoria University Council etc. She was awarded the OBE in 1979 and died 27 July 1992.
