Description
The Kaponga Courier was a weekly publication with a circulation area covering Kaponga, Rowan, Awatuna, Riverlea, Mangatoki and Mahoe. Published by T.S. Hickey between 1925 and 1940 and printed at the office of the Opunake Times newspaper in Opunake.
Each issue consisted of advertisements, an editorial column, meeting reports from local organizations and local government, notification of community and sporting events, and Government announcements including land sales and leases.
Puke Ariki holds 1927-1928 and 1937-1940 in hard copy and on microfilm.
