Talks of involvement in St Mary's Church. Attended St Michael's Upjohn Street - Rev Don Beauchamp. Was confirmed, married at St Mary's. Became secretary when Melonie Bamford left. Win Elliot a supporter. Talks of work in Parish Office. Had two helpers - Judy Reid and Stenna Crowe. Also mentions Archdeacon Peter Butt starting the parish newsletters and Marjorie McConachie helping with the folding. 20-30 parishes used to bring their typing in and office kept all documentation for weddings, funerals and baptisms. Talks of publishing the monthly magazine Mrs Broadbent. Mentions various members of vestry - Mr Sanford, John Armstrong, Hugh O'Connor, Win Elliot. Also Geoff Giniver, Helen Butt, Mrs Liggett and Rosemary Bent. Curates housing.
