Description
Oral history. Mina speaks of her involvement in Holy Trinity, Fitzroy. She arrived in New Plymouth in 1925, her children christened at Holy Trinity. Describes church involvement such as fund raising bazaars. Also talks of her life and family, marriage, her husband's war service, overseas travel and her 90th birthday which was celebrated at Wilkinson's Castle.
Talks of various members of the Holy Trinity parish including, Miss White (nurse WWI), Mrs Waterson (teacher), Miss Giddy (teacher), Mr and Mrs Craven, Mr Archer (plumber) Mr and Mrs King. Also talks of 125th jubilee celebrations and the National Council of Women. Was a member of the Alpine Club and used to sew own packs, she also made a tent and sleeping bags.
