Description
An episode of the television documentary series Epitaph which used gravestones to reenact stories from New Zealand history. 'Salaman's Tomb' tells the story of New Plymouth herbalist Mohammed Salaman (c1885-1941). Directed by Kim Gunter and researched by Trevor Conn, it was filmed partially in the Taranaki Museum and includes interviews with museum archivist Mary Donald and local historian Dr Alan Hayton as well as views inside Salaman's tomb at Te Henui Cemetery.
