Description
The collection consists of an album created by Mary Donald containing photographs taken during the two cloak weaving workshops (whatu and muka) and the trip to Tokomaru Bay for the national hui of Toi Maori Aotearoa Te Roopu Raranaga Whatu o Aotearoa. The images taken at the two workshops are primarily the work of Linda Tancred of the Taranaki Museum and the images taken at Tokomaru Bay during the hui, were mainly taken by Mary Donald.
The album also contains the original proposal, a financial budget, newspaper clippings, names and addresses of participants and two video cassettes taken during the first workshop by Tania Todd. The recordings have been captured on Konica Super HG VHSC tape.
