Log book of Mr. John King of Grimsby, kept when going to New Zealand : sanctioned and confirmed by Mr. John Jackson of Hatcliffe, and the other Lincolnshire passengers by ship "Chile", which sailed from London in June, 1875. Printed and published by H Watson, Laceby, Grimsby, 1875.

In 1975, using this particular copy, the Chile Committee (Herb Mullon) published a reprint of 500 copies. In the introduction, the editor states that there are only four known copies of the original booklet; three in NZ and one in England. Herb Mullon's personal reprint has been photocopied and added to the file. It includes a central insert consisting of newspaper clippings.
