Mrs E. M. Ingle, formerly Health Education Officer with the New Plymouth District Health Office wrote 'Brief Notes about the Origin of the Mobile Mass Miniature Radiography Unit.
She recalls the setting up of the first mobile x-ray unit in New Zealand and how it travelled throughout the Hawera, Stratford, Patea and Wanganui hospital districts.
