Description
Established in 1931 as a branch of the New Zealand Primary Schools Headmasters' Association, to provide a forum for members to discuss professional and educational issues. The membership of the Association was extended in 1958 to include principals of post-primary schools.
The records include official minutes from 1931 - 1969, attendance lists and correspondence 1932 - 1976 which include letters regarding school milk supply, ANZAC Day arrangements, teachers' salaries and conditions.
