Description
John Wright was 96 years of age when he wrote his reminiscences - 'A Seargeants' [sic] Story W.W.I. Attack on La Signay Farm, March 30th 1918. Executed by 2 Auckland Batallion, comprising of 16th Waikato, 6th Hauraki, 3rd Auckland and 15th North Auckland Coy's.'
He gives his personal memories as well as quotes from Q. E. Burton 'The Auckland Regiment'. Photocopy.
