Description
Born in Medbury, 31 May 1905, Joe Elliott spent most of his life in the Inglewood area. With only primary school education he became a surveyor, mathematician, engineer, musician and a student of classical literature. A solitary man, Joe died in New Plymouth 3 Feb. 1973 leaving a legacy of inventions and innovations.
