Miscellaneous papers belonging to John Thomas Linehan (1896-1978) on various historical subjects including: Friends of the Taranaki Museum newsletters and membership lists, papers relating to the opening of the War Memorial building, Historic Places Trust notes and newsletters and a copy of A. W. Burrell's paper on ocean currents. The collection also includes a booklet printed by the Taranaki Education Board in 1886 titled "Rules and regulations for the conduct of the Public Schools of Taranaki".
