Description
Born in New Plymouth, Richard Baunton attended Central School and New Plymouth Boys' High. During World War II, he enlisted in the New Zealand Army and then the R.N.Z.A.F. and served overseas. On return to his home town, he took a teaching position at his old high school, a position he held for many years.
The papers include school reports and other school ephemera. Also a variety of World War II memorabilia.
