Oral history. Alison Robinson talks with Dr Brian Fisher, 21 Holye Place, New Plymouth on 3rd November 2000 about his work with the Stratford Hospital. He was a General Medical Practioner and associated with anaesthetics, obstetrics, and helicopter rescues. 1965 - 1987. Brian arrived in Stratford 1965 direct from Zambia and he talks of his medical experience including rescue work with Alan Beck and Jock Simpson relating several incidents.
Recorded as part of Alison's research into her publication Stratford Hospital Memories (Interview No 76). No abstract has been made. An edited transcript is available.
