Oral history. Alison Robinson talks with Henry Peick, of 59 Brecon Road, Stratford on 29th february 2000. Henry was a St John's Ambulance Officer and relief ambulance driver working with the Stratford Hospital. Henry speaks of the ambulance service - describing the types of vehicles, the services provided, licensing laws (to operate an ambulance) and accidents attended.
Recorded as part of Alison's research into her publication Stratford Hospital Memories (Interview No 74). No abstract has been made. An edited transcript is available.
