Description
The Tracks and Huts Sub Committee formed part of the Egmont National Park Board. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the tracks, routes and huts in the Park, the committee was dissolved in 1981.
The papers include the minutes of the Track and Huts Committee from its first meeting in 1968 to 1979. Also includes are reports on various tracks, historical notes on tracks, buildings and noxious animals written by David Rawson. Also the Egmont National Park Board's report to the Federated Mountain Clubs of NZ 1956 - 1975
