Description
A speech given at a Methodist Church luncheon by Dr Ross Gordon, 117 Brecon Road, Stratford in 16th April 1998. Ross begins the interview with information about his parents Drs Doris and Bill Gordon describing the demands during the 1918 influenza epidemic and operating a general medical practice (includes a description of treating a prize Clydsdale horse). On qualifying as a GP in 1946, Ross returned to Stratford and he continues his story with personal reminiscences of the amulance service, various operations etc.
