Oral history. Alison Robinson talks with Irene McFarlane (nee Hancock) of Percy Avenue, Stratford, 8th July 1999. Irene relates memories of the Straford Hospital from various angles. She was the niece of the Hospital Cook, a patient's sister in 1941, a member of the kitchen staff 1943 and joined the laundry staff 1944 - 1946.
