Description
Oral history. Alison Robinson talks with Doris Russ (nee Grey ) of Broadway, Stratford. Doris talks of her work as a hospital cook fram about 1931 to 1937. She talks of her success interview with Matron and what it was like to start the job with very little experience. She describes the food cooked, the shortage of food and supplies.
