 Description
The Tisch Memorial Committee was formed in September 1911 to commemorate the late Mayor Gustave Tisch (died 10 August 1911), its function being to improve, extend and beautify the Esplanade (now part of the coastal walkway between the Wind Wand and Kawaroa Park).
The minutes include records of the Tisch Memorial fund and the Tourist Traffic Committee, formed to promote tourism in the region, particularly the Mokau River.
