Based in Melbourne around the turn of the century (1900) F. C. Grebin was a recognised petroleum expert and general adviser to the Commonwealth Government of Australia on petroleum matters.
A report 'Report of Some of the Properties in the Taranaki Oil Field, New Zealand'. It includes sections on the geology of the area, technical developments and economic problems. It also contains original photographs.
