Description
The Community House Trust was formed in 1984; its aim being to gather community organisations together and find suitable premises from which to operate.
Eventually, premises were built beside the YMCA Community Centre on Leach Street which became home to the CAB (Citizen's Advice Bureau) the New Plymouth Women's Centre, Women's Refuge, The Budgetry Advisory Service, Barado's NZ and the WEA (Taranaki Workers Education Association).
The papers consist of submissions, minutes (an incomplete run) and newspaper clippings relating to the formation and running of the Community House Trust.
