Description
Evelyn L. Dowling tutored violin, viola and cello in New Plymouth.
The collection consists of an introductory pamphlet written by Miss Dowling (Aug 1919) and given to all her music students. Directed at the parents, the pamphlet describes Miss Dowling's approach to teaching and her expectations. Also a humorous note from two pupils complaining of having arduous practice and photographs of Miss Dowling with pupils and playing various instruments.
