Description
The papers consist of various letters, annual reports, vouchers and returns. Also the return of free rations issued daily to immigrants at the Immigration Depot on Marsland Hill for the period 1875-1877. Included are the passenger lists for the Howrah (1874); the Avalanche (1874); Caroline (1875); Collingwood (1875); Halcione (1875); Chile (1875); Mataura (1875); Hurunui (1875 and 1878) and the Hermione (1878).
