Description
The unknown writer has recorded the time taken to walk between various points within Taranaki. It starts in Oct 1907 with a journey from New Plymouth to the North House (North Egmont Mountain House) to Bells Falls and the return to 'The House'. The second journey, Nov 17 1907 records the walk to the Mountain House and an unsuccessful attempt to the summit. The third journey took place March 1st 1908 described getting to the Mountain House and a return tramp to Dawsons Falls. The fourth tramp records the times taken from New Plymouth (4am to the Mountain House (8am) and return to New Plymouth.
