The papers reflect the professional development of both Dennis and Dot Allen and includes papers relating to the purchase of property in New Plymouth at 114 Pendarves Street, alterations to the house, protection of trees on the property, records of entertaining friends for dinner (guest lists and dinner menus), information on the St George, Gamlin and Francis families etc. The house was sold in 2002 to a developer who removed the house from the property.
