Description
The collection consists of two letters. The first, dated June 15 1847, was written by Ann Todd in Andover, England and is addressed to 'My dear Emma', who was at that time living in New Plymouth. The letter contains news of family and friends and illustrates the writer's concern for Emma. Typescript is available.
The second letter is dated January 29th 1914 and is written by William Baker (possibly Emma's son) of Inglewood and is addressed to an accountant, possibly in Andover. This letter gives genealogical information and states that the writer wishes to renew contact with family in England and also asks about unclaimed money etc in regards to heirs.
